TL;DR

  • Drug-Free Permanent Supportive Housing ordinance cleared the committee 3-0; new city-funded site-based PSH would have to ban on-site illicit drug use, and HSH would survey current PSH residents about which model they prefer.
  • The sanctuary city resolution responding to an ICE action at SFO was amended 3-0 to soften language about SFPD's role and to ask agencies to "continue to abide by" sanctuary policies rather than "recommit to" them, then forwarded with a positive recommendation.
  • A resolution backing the Junior ROTC program in six SF high schools cleared 3-0, urging SFUSD to keep the program as currently constituted.
  • The Mellow SF, a music venue at 1401 Haight Street, got a positive committee recommendation 3-0 for a Type-90 on-sale general music venue liquor license.
